Granada Golf Team comes in 3rd Place & earns 2 medals at the Monarch Bay Tournament
April 8, 2019: The Granada Boys Golf Team placed 3rd with a score of 401 at the Monarch Bay Tournament in San Leandro, California. They also had 2 medalist on the team at the end of the tournament. GHS Sophomore, Shazi Lodhi came home with a 1st place blue medal for scoring 73 and Senior, Dylan Tompkins placing 2nd runner up with a 74. The team did a great job working together with the following scores: Seth Lundin 82, Shane Napier 82, Ty Marks 89 and AJ Nicholson 95. 
Granada places 6th this afternoon at NCS and Christeson advances to NorCals!

Christeson ties for 2nd Place with a 75, 76-Briggs, 79-Overton, 88-Manto and 91-Tai. Par 71. Christeson and Overton finished their season with all league honors. Alex Christeson finished her high school golf career with her fourth straight First Team All League Honors congratulations Alex! Jade Overton received Honorable Mention this year, congratulations Jade!

Seniors Alex Christeson and Katie Murphy played their last high school match together (sniff, sniff). It has been fun watching them these 4 years chat and laugh the entire time!
